Helping teams help themselves

I started fundmyteam.org at the end of my eighth grade year. Football and wrestling were my passions but I loved to play all sports. I was proud to play for my school teams but I noticed there was frequently a challenge raising the money needed to cover the basic costs of these teams. I thought to myself that if there was a way to help these teams with funding then that would be a project that I would love to pursue. I also knew that my friends had clothes that they would grow out of and family members who occasionally got rid of used clothes. I reached out to a used clothes retailer and they agreed to partner with fundmyteam.org and work alongside me to help turn used clothes into needed dollars for school teams.
